The spiritual -biographical rhythms you presented clarified some things for me, and also made me remember that in the Holy Nights ā23-ā24 the theme for the mood forward came to me as āFrom Jesus to Christā.. not the lectures, which admittedly I still have not read (!).
While you were speaking about the schism between the earthly and spiritual I Am aspects of the Consciousness Soul, and rising from natural evolution to Christic evolution I was thinking too how it has felt to me last few years we are in the Autumn phase of human life..
and we know in the cycle of the year how the Imaginations of the Resurrection, working in the human soul, are a seasonal prompt, but considering this activity in a much larger rhythm is very encouraging.
One last remark, I was delighted to hear your direction towards new forms for Anthroposophy, and look forward to your subsequent ideas. For just today I was struggling with having been asked to be one of the speakers in a webinar (Anthroposophical platform) about sub-nature and the etheric, and wondering how to overcome the typical ātemplateā.. which I dread. š
Somehow it helps knowing there are more people such as you who envision this as a real and communal possibility.
A question it had is, why 1879 or 1912 would be considered the Birth of the I. Unless I misheard that. Interesting that the fall of the spirits of darkness happened in 1879. I've been reading A Way of Self Knowledge and The Threshold to the Spiritual World written in 1912 and 1913, which i think is interesting .
Hey Brian, I am glad you found the presentation valuable. So to clarify, Steiner is calling the date of the original Easter in 33 AD the "birth of the I." And then he is calling the year beginning Easter 1912, 1879 years since the birth of the I...meaning 1879 years since Easter 33. Make sense?

I have read Yeshayahu Ben Aharonās first book about the Christ event of the 20th century. And I know that he has published other books since then. Which would you recommend?
I take it that you know Steffen Hartmannās book The Michael Prophecy and the years 2012-2033 ..? It was brought to me by Petra Zinniker during a 6 Basic Exercise training.
My own first encounter with American anthroposophy was at Christmas time 2019-2020 - the zoom presentations during the Holy Nights. I was happy then to see and hear how the presenters let each other totally free, never correcting each other. (Some experience in Danish anthroposophy has been different. Some fear, and some rejection of others.)

I actually was not aware of the Hartmann book but several people, including yourself, have pointed it out since my talk and I have have now ordered it and am eager to learn of his perspectives.
Regarding Ben Ahron, though I own a number of his books, none have stuck with me the way "The Spiritual Event of the 20th Century" has. But I could certanly also recommend his book "The New Experience of the Supersensible." It is an attempt, you could say, to weld together Rudolf Steiner's Christology and his epistemology. It is a very dense book but well worth the effort.
